This is liquid's usual cry, us poor PS3 fans were vilified by the xbox 360 fanboys for so long, untill now. But he conviniently forgets that for the 1st 3 quarters of 2008 PS3 was outselling the 360, and all the news then was "the 360 is doomed" type articles.

Only reporters were there. Unlike X09 where the some of the gaming community was allowed in, along with reporters. There is no PS3 community aspect here in Canada. And I think we need it up here.

I woudnt necessarily think that Demon's Souls is going to push a lot of sales. As it is incredibly hardcore, so it wont appeal to that many people.
Uncharted 2 and Rachet And Clank is a different story though, they will sell oodles of copies!!!
The beauty is that you can keep racing hardcore, and not worry about all the noob assists. But someone who isn't all that good, can race in a room with noob assists on. There's choice here.

Things like HOME, NXE, or what ever this article is trying say, are marketted at non hard core gamers. And guess what hardcore gamers make up a small portion of the game console ownership group. They are marketting these at the casual crowd. It's the casual crowd that sells consoles. The hardcore buy the 1st year, and the casuals from there on.
So why not market stuff like this at the bread and butter of your business. Just don't forget your dardcore crowd though!!

One thing I laugh at the 80's metal was how we idolized the Crue, Ratt, etc... We thought they were so tough!! But if we saw a guy walking downtown with pink spandex pants on we'd no doubt try and throw him in the garbage bin, and call him a queer. And right after that we would all listen to the bands that all wore pink spandex pants ...
Well lets hope that all the new MW2 players don't overwhelm the XBL network, like the original did.
